I was tasked with making this fun space beautiful, welcoming, yet more functional. Reimagining the space, I was able to work from the owners existing foundation, adding the necessary elements to take this space from laid-back to luxe! Introducing natural elements like sun loving plants paired with a variety of textural accessories makes this a true oasis.

Get It Together.

What is the best approach for pulling a room together? The question often at the forefront when styling or designing a room. First, decide how the room needs to function. Rearrange, replace, or repurpose the pieces required for the space. Secondly, When accessorizing, pull accent colors from staple pieces. This could be an area rug, or your favorite piece of art. Remember an accent color can be complimentary or contrasting. Third, create interest usingtexture and objects of interest. Have fun, layer in pieces of varying heights, material, and colorto pull the vision together.

Autumn in Missouri is beautiful. As the days shorten and the nights cool, the season offers ample opportunity for inspiration. This “Friendsgiving” tablescape embraces a cooler palate of dusty-green eucalyptus and storybook pumpkins offering pops of ivory. Vintage brass candlesticks and brass objects showcased by flickering light add cozy warmth to the evening. Your Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings, or any party for that matter, deserve to be beautiful. Tablescapes and party decor, just like any other design project, are all about details and layers. Create interest by artfully layering pieces that draw your guests in; they feel welcome and intrigued. Thoughtful design allows an easy transition from one holiday to the next. Invest in core pieces like candles, embellished salad plates, neutral linens, and vintage glassware, then pair them with inexpensive seasonal items to easily transition from holiday to holiday.
